It was a loovely sunday afternoon when we visited the bustling Columbia Flower market in East London. I've heard all about it and couldn't wait to finally see the crowds myself! We weren't exactly early that day, instead nearing the end of the day when most of the stalls have madly reduced their prices. Yes, that's right, they have the most gorgeous ranges of flowers and plants at the cheapest prices you could everrrr imagined. If we weren't leaving London the next day I would have bought at least a few to plant in my brother's place. Londoners are so lucky, how I wish there's this kind of flower flea market in Singapore every other weekend.
Covent Garden.. Covent Garden.. There's just this little magic in this lovely area that could make you go all cheerful out of nothing. Even the drizzling and cold weather caused nothing to that mood. It felt pretty warm inside surrounded by all the crowds, the foods, and the atmosphere in general. Not to mention, circus shows were always there to entertain most of the time. #ohlondonimissyoualready
First few days back in London last December 2012. So good to finally be back reunited with my brother and Natasha!! And I miss them now already.
Some highlights from this post : first time to visit the Arsenal stadium. Not a big fan of soccer but it was pretty exciting to see the real stadium in person. It was hugee, who knows!
Also, hopped on the train to Bicester one sunny day. The weather that day was just too gorgeous, couldn't help not to take so much pictures but only managed to select these few. Editing is a chore.. haha guess i'll take it slowly to post those travel pictures to fill up my dead blog.
Outside Titanic Exhibition at Artscience Museum last saturday obviously trying to beat the heat wearing such bright color under the sun. Thanks to Vivi who took these pictures for me and at the same time commenting that I look like I'm about to go to a concert..
First day photo diary of a week long discovering bits of the capital of Sichuan Province in Southwest China somewhere in March. I wasn't necessarily excited about this trip in the first place because the plan initially was to visit Jiuzhaigou for the famous valley, which might be the only reason why I wanted to tag along. But due to some unforeseen event we couldn't manage to go there..Pretty upsetting though, however we decided to hang around Chengdu this time round. Even the name sounds weird to me. But then wherever it is, it's always good to entertain and have some quality time with the family after quite a while not being able to do so!
Some series of performances to showcase the rich cultural heritage of China. Highlight of day one.
